We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was top-notch. The hotel facilities were impressive, especially the big kitchen and ample storage space for food. The convenient parking made it hassle-free for us. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the train station and the State Capitol. The breakfast provided was simple but filling, with tea, coffee, English muffins, peanut butter and jelly, yogurt. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

    Nothing, everything was great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the charm and comfort of the private room I stayed in at HI Hostel. The period details added a touch of elegance to the accommodations. The breakfast provided a rich experience, with a diverse mix of international and domestic travelers sharing stories and forming connections. Despite being located in the heart of downtown, the hostel provided a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hostel.

Convenient location across from the town hall on a main street. Helpful staff who provided assistance with parking meters and their cost.- The building had a nice ambiance and the kitchen was well equipped.- The game room was a bonus for entertainment.

Difficulties with parking arrangements; no guaranteed spaces available.

The location of this hostel is absolutely ideal, just a few minutes away from the city center, Old Sac, the Capitol, and the museum. You couldn't ask for a better spot to explore the city. Plus, the historic building adds a unique charm to the experience.

The check-in process can be a bit slow and disorganized, with staff sometimes getting caught up in lengthy conversations instead of attending to guests efficiently.

The location of this place was really great, close to all the main attractions and public transportation. The free breakfast they offered was a nice bonus, with a good variety of options to choose from. The staff was also friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions or needed assistance.

The room I stayed in was not well-maintained, with dirty floors and a musty smell. The bathroom was not properly cleaned either, with mold in the shower and spiders in the corners.

My recent stay at Hi Sacramento Hostel was a great experience. Despite my late arrival due to a delayed flight, the reception staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I opted for a spacious private room in the attractive historical building, and I was impressed by the privacy and comfort it provided. The hostel had a nice vintage atmosphere and the beds were decent without any noise issues. I also appreciated the good breakfast options and the convenient location for exploring Sacramento. I would definitely recommend Hi Sacramento Hostel to couples and solo travelers alike.

had a wonderful stay at a charming place with friendly staff, comfortable living rooms, and a lovely porch. Perfect for a short trip, loved the Victorian style and the old, cozy atmosphere. Great breakfast and gathered useful information for future travels with my kids.

Housekeepers need to clean more frequently, especially the kitchen oven and staircases.

Great staff and beautiful house. The staff was helpful and easily resolved a check-in issue. The house itself was stunning and provided a pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the location was ideal, with convenient access to the city center and attractions.

There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. The vent in my room made a persistent high-pitched noise, although the staff did attempt to fix it.

The breakfast provided all the basics with eggs, bread, oatmeal, jam, and coffee. The building had a historic charm and the location was excellent for exploring downtown attractions.
